As we approach the festive season, we, and all the team at All4Maternity, want to take this opportunity to send our sincere good wishes for a happy and peaceful Christmas. Some of you will be working, caring for mothers and babies, and in many different ways – we hope you have time for some rest and relaxation, to spend time with friends and family.

It’s been an exciting year for us. Planning and establishing All4Maternity, in addition to purchasing and developing the The NEW Practising Midwife, has kept us happily on our toes. The launch event in October at the RCM conference in Manchester was a phenomenal success, and since that date we have 561 new subscribers! We are delighted, as our aim is to grow a community of maternity workers and activists, to better support mothers, babies and families.

You may remember that we are ‘gifting’ free subscriptions to midwives from low income countries. Our One4One offer means that every time a midwife in a high income country subscribes – we offer a membership to a membership to a midwife who needs but can’t afford the resource. This is so important to us. We have already taken this forward with midwives in Uganda, and we are now working with the ICM to expand the project.

As 2018 draws nearer, we want to share a few of our exciting developments. We will be launching our BIRTH Repository, which will provide links to birth related information – at the touch of a button. We will be hosting webinars, and events, so keep looking out for details!

And lastly, but most importantly, we want to thank YOU – our local supporters and All4Maternity community members for being with us on our journey. We welcome your input, your feedback, and your involvement – please do get in touch.
